I had the privilege to go to Silver Dollar City (SDC) twice during the Christmas season. The first time was supposed to be for Run to the Lights, a 5k around SDC. However, since I was in an air cast, we (Melissa and I) did not stay for the race. Instead, we got to walk around and look at the lights. So pretty.
When you register for Run to the Lights, you receive a pass to come back to SDC anytime before the season is finished. That was the whole reason to sign up for the race. :)
So the second trip to SDC, was with Brandon, Shayla and John. We went during the day to ride all the rides. I realized I hadn't been to SDC to ride the rides in years. It was a lot of fun. Especially the new ones. Outlaw Run was insane!!! I didn't like it at all. ha ha. But it was a fun day! And I even ran into my cousin I hadn't seen in forever.
